Sara received her Bachelor of Science Cum Laude degree from Eastern Michigan University in 2000. She received her Master of Science for Physician Assistant Cum Laude from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2006.

Sara has been a practicing physician’s assistant for seven years, specializing in the field of neurosurgery and spine orthopedics. A physician’s assistant is certified to practice medicine as part of a team with physicians. Sara aids Dr. Michael Donahue in the treatment of all spine conditions. She performs physical exams, diagnoses and treats conditions, orders and interprets tests, prescribes medications and assists Dr. Donahue in surgery.
