Joint Replacement

Joint replacement surgery (replacement arthroplasty) involves removing an arthritic or damaged joint and replacing it with a new one made of prosthetic materials. The Center for Advanced Orthopedics specializes in joint replacement surgery for people with arthritis that can no longer relieve their pain with non-surgical treatments.

Joint replacement and resurfacing surgeries are most commonly performed on hips, knees and shoulders. We may perform an arthroscopic examination to determine which treatment is best for you. Whether the treatment plan includes joint replacement, joint revision or joint resurfacing, we will also work to minimize post-operative risks and actively manage pain.
